Dr.-Ing Vincent Christlein is an assistant professor (‘Akademischer Rat’) at the Pattern Recognition Lab of the FAU, where he heads the computer vision group. His research interests lie in the field of machine learning and computer vision with a strong focus on computational humanities. He leads the work in Work Package 2 on developing algorithms to detect objects in artworks and linking these to smells and scents.
