Prathmesh Madhu studied Masters of Technology in Information and Communication Technology from Gandhinagar, India. Currently, he is working as a research expert at the pattern recognition lab of FAU, Germany. His research interests lie in mathematics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and applied computer vision. During his doctoral studies, he applied computer vision methods for computational humanities focusing on scene understanding using object detection, pose estimation, and image compositions for artworks. For the Odeuropa project, he works in WP2 on smell reference recognition in paintings. He is excited to observe multi-modal image and text analysis and understand smell relations in artworks.
