Prof. Dunja Mladenić is a researcher, project manager and the head of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Jožef Stefan Institute and teaches at the J. Stefan International Postgraduate School. She is an active researcher in the area of machine learning, text mining and the Semantic Web and the author and editor of several books and papers on these topics. She has participated in more than 30 EU projects and coordinated EU FP5 RTD project (Sol-Eu-Net). Prof. Dunja Mladenić is the Slovenian representative in the EC Enwise STRATA ETAN Expert Group and serves as a project evaluator and reviewer for various EC programs.
